Terms of Service
Effective date: January 01, 2026
By booking a service with Soapy Whips, I confirm that I am the vehicle owner or I have the owner's permission to authorize service, and I agree to the following terms:
1) Vehicle Access and Authorization to Reposition
I authorize Soapy Whips and its technicians to access my vehicle as reasonably necessary to perform the selected service, including entering the vehicle, opening doors, trunk, and hood, and starting and moving the vehicle short distances within the same parking lot or private property for positioning, safety, and service completion. Soapy Whips will not drive the vehicle off-site.
2) Key Handling and Access Requirements
I understand that service requires timely access. I agree to provide access at the scheduled time by being present, unlocking the vehicle, or providing keys or another approved access method as instructed. If I provide keys, I authorize Soapy Whips to hold and use them solely to reposition the vehicle and complete service. Soapy Whips will keep keys in technician possession when in use and return them promptly after service. If access is not provided within a reasonable window, service may be delayed, shortened, rescheduled, or treated as a no-show in accordance with Section 10.
3) Vehicle Condition, Pre-Existing Damage, and Results
Detailing may reveal pre-existing conditions such as scratches, dents, paint defects, interior wear, stains, cracked leather, loose trim, prior repairs, or fading. Soapy Whips is not responsible for pre-existing damage or for issues resulting from fragile materials or prior damage, including but not limited to failing clear coat, brittle plastics, loose trim, tinted films, wraps, paint protection film, aftermarket accessories, or previous bodywork.
4) Personal Property and Valuables
I will remove or secure cash, valuables, sensitive documents, electronics, and personal items before service. Soapy Whips is not responsible for loss of personal property left inside the vehicle.
5) Mechanical, Electrical, and Safety Systems
Soapy Whips is not responsible for mechanical or electrical issues not caused by gross negligence, including dead batteries, alarms, sensors, key fobs, window regulators, trunk latches, warning lights, or other malfunctions. If the vehicle cannot be safely accessed or repositioned, service may be paused, modified, or rescheduled.
6) Mobile Service Conditions, Water Use, and Environment
Soapy Whips performs services on-site and may use a mobile water tank. Results may be affected by factors outside of Soapy Whips' control, including weather, direct sun, pollen, sprinklers, tree sap, dust, and surface temperature. Soapy Whips will take reasonable precautions, but outcomes may vary based on vehicle condition and environment.
7) Photos, Documentation, and Quality Control
I authorize Soapy Whips to take before-and-after photos and documentation of the vehicle, including photos of existing damage, for quality assurance, training, and dispute resolution.
8) Claims Window and Dispute Process
Any concerns must be reported before the vehicle leaves the service area or within 24 hours of completion, whichever occurs first. Concerns reported after this window may not be eligible for resolution.
9) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Soapy Whips' total liability for any claim arising from or related to the service will not exceed the amount paid for the service performed that day. Soapy Whips will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of use of the vehicle. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.
10) Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No-Show
By booking, I agree to Soapy Whips' Cancellation & No-Show Policy, including any fees disclosed at checkout. A booking may be treated as a no-show if the vehicle is unavailable, locked, blocked in, the customer cannot be reached, or access is not provided within a reasonable window at the scheduled time.
11) On-Site, Workplace, and Partner Bookings
For workplace, apartment, corporate, or partner-scheduled events, I understand that: service is performed in a designated staging area, and access must be available at the booked time slot, and if access is not available, the appointment may be delayed, shortened, rescheduled, or treated as a no-show under Section 10.
12) Acceptance
By proceeding with booking, I acknowledge I have read and agree to these Terms of Service.
